On Thursday, June 18th we will begin our stated meeting at 7:00 pm instead of the usual 7:30 pm. We will be conferring two First Degrees and encourage all members and brethren to join us.
My Brothers – It is my sad duty to share that we have lost another Brother. Brother John Owen Mason passed away Saturday May 16, 2015. He was initiated into Raytown Masonic Lodge #391 on April 28, 1976. He was passed to the Degree of Fellow Craft on July 28,1976. Brother Mason was Raised to the degree of Master Mason on September 18,1976. Brother Mason served our Nation’s military honorably in the United States Marine Corps in WWII. Brother Mason will be cremated. His memorial service will be held Tuesday May 26, 2015at 11:00 AM at Langsford Funeral Home located at 115 SW 3rd St. Lee’s Summit, MO. 64063. There will be Military Honors at the end of the memorial services. Brother Mason will be interred in Vermillion, Kansas. At this time, we do not know who will be performing the Masonic Service. Please make an effort to attend and honor the service and dedication Brother Mason gave not only to our fraternity but to our Nation as well.
